After a long pause, finally BlackBerry launched its BlackBerry Messenger for the Android and iOS platforms.
Earlier, BBM was set to launched on September 21 for Android and September 22 for iOS platforms, but both launches were aborted because of a leaked BBM apk file that caused a lot of problems at the BlackBerry Servers.
According to Blackberry blog, “About six million people signed up for information about BBM at BBM.com. As you know, in just seven hours, about one million Android users were using the unreleased version of BBM for Android. What you don’t know is that more than one million people have found creative ways to “side load” BBM on their iPhone. This is incredible.”

How to Downgrade Android Firmware from Custom ROM

Remember-

• Make sure you have take backup of your contacts and apps before proceeding to downgrading method.
• Install Samsung USB Drivers on your system.
• Enable USB debugging options, if you are using slim bean then go to Settings > About and press the build number few times.
• Also Fully charge your Battery.
• and Most Important, You can proceed with this method at your own risk, We are not responsible for any damages of your devices.

BTW, I tested this method on my samsung galaxy note device, I downgraded my note firmware from Slim Bean Android 4.2.2 build 8 to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

Downgrade Android Firmware from Custom ROM

Step 1:- Download desired firmware file that you want your device to downgrade. Download it from Samsung Updates and then extract it on your desktop.
Step 2:- Now, Download and unzip odin flash file on your desktop, Download Odin3_v3.04.Zip if you want to downgrade or install a new firmware like Jelly Bean and download Odin3_v1.85.Zip, to install older firmware.
Step 3:- Switch off your Samsung device and boot up into download mode by pressing and holding the volume down + Home + Power buttons simultaneously.
Step 4:- Go to Odin folder and run odin exe file.
Step 5:- Now Connect your samsung device to the computer using a USB cable.
Step 6:- When the device connected to computer, the ID:COM port at odin will turn to light blue(If using odin v3.04) or Yellow(If using odin v1.85) and Added!! text in the message box below.
Step 7:- Now, Uncheck Auto Reboot Option and make sure that only F. Reset Time option is checked on Odin windows.
Step 8:- Now click on the PDA button and select the firmware file in tar.md5 format and then click on the Start button. The downgrading process will take few minutes.
Step 9:- When you get a PASS message on odin windows, remove the USB Cable

Step 10:- Now Pull out your samsung device battery and wait for about 60 seconds and then reinsert battery back to its place.
Step 11:- Now Boot your device into Android Recovery Mode. For this press and hold the Volume Up + Home buttons together and then hold the Power button till the screen turns up and the Samsung logo blinks for two times. Release the Power button but keep the other two keys pressed till you see a black screen with green Android bot and Blue text.
Step 12:- In the Recovery mode, first select the wipe data/factory reset option and select yes to confirm it.
Step 13:- Now go to wipe cache partition and confirm it.
Step 14:- finally, go to the reboot system now options to boot on your actual android Firmware. The Booting process may take few minutes.
