Start Screen in Windows 8 provides quick access to your favorite applications, then there can easy change the background wallpaper available packages. However, if you use the same computer with other people, sometimes you will encounter some problems when the user can easily change your Start Screen.
To fix this, you can disable the feature change Start Screen background image in the Local Group Policy Editor, you just have Administrator rights are. When you start make sure you are logged on as an Administrator or have the right to tweak the basic settings.
First you type in “gpedit.msc” in the Search Apps for gpedit.msc from the Apps.
Immediately the Local Group Policy Editor window will appear. Then you adjust navigate toComputer Configuration> Administrative Templates> Control Panel> Personalization. On the right side of the window will appear 3 custom available, please right-click on Prevent changing start menu background and select Edit.
Then Prevent changing start menu background window will show you the Enabled check box and click OK
After application of the policy set, you must update them by open the Windows Run and type“gpupdate /force” and press Enter.
Once the settings have been updated, select PC Settings> Personalize to check the background image is changed whether disabled or not.
